How to Make a Rosette with an Apple


Ever try to serve apples in different ways? Try making it look like a Rosette. It's easy and super fast, and it's good for salad.



What do we need?
  1. A serrated &  a normal knife
  2. A toothpicks
  3. An Apple

Here are the steps:
  1. Using a serrated knife, cut the apple in half about 1 cm from the center.
  2. We are gonna use the smaller half.
  3. Slice the half apple into thin slices, 1 - 2 mm thick using a normal knife
  4. Slice only one half of the piece.
  5. Put the slices apple into a stack.
  6. Remove the first slice and push a toothpick or cocktail pick at the base.
  7. Using a spoon baller scoop out a ball from the remaining half and use it as the base.
  8. Push the toothpick on the ball, leaving 0.5 cm on the top.
  9. Overlap the slices to create the rosette.
  10. Hide the tip of the toothpick with a berry.

You can you use a green or red apples. However a red apples look much better.

The second video shows how a fruit seller in Thailand uses his super speed hand to peel a mango and then cut all the flesh down until only the seed is remain. Then he put it in a plastic jars and put his secret sauce. He looks so confident, doesn't he?


The third video shows another Thailand fruit seller cut a half ripened mango diagonally and put it into a plastic bags. I think his fingers has an eye so that the knife won't cut him. Dangerous trick I believe. He could do it in 20 seconds.

The fourth video shows a fruit seller again in Thailand quickly peel a mango using a fruit peeler and the cut it nicely using a sharp knife to form a lotus. Nice.

The fifth video shows a Mexican cut a mango only with the help of stick and carved it to form a full grown flower. This time a full ripened mango is used. A whole mango took only less than a minute.

The last one is the most beautiful. A fruit seller on a beach carved diagonally a ripened mango and put some special ingredients which seems to be  so yummy.

What do we need?
  1. A sharp blade

Here's how they did it:
  1. Get a fresh coconut.
  2. Cut the outher skin half the way up with the blade.
  3. Once it is ready, switch to the smaller knife.
  4. Carefully clean the inner shell from the flesh
  5. Do it again and again it until the flesh doesn't attched to the inner shell.
  6. Next get a plastic bags and turn it down.
  7. Now you have your coconut with its flesh and juice intact.

4 Great Ways to Cut & Serve Pineapple


I'm gonna show you 4 different ways on how to serve pineapples by using different techniques and different tools.

One 

  1. We gonna cut or pineapple in two halves.
  2. Now we are gonna cut them again into another two halves.
  3. And you will have a quarter of the pineapple.
  4. Then we are gonna use a smaller knife to take away the heart or the middle of the pineapple as you cannot eat those part.
  5. We are gonna go down to cut heart
  6. After that we need to cut the flesh in 1 cm wide.
  7. Then we want to arrange it left and right to make it beautiful and easy to eat.



Two

  1. We need to cut the pineapple into half.
  2. Cut the top and bottom.
  3. And you will need a special pineapple tool to peel it from the skin.
  4. Just cut it down and you have a nice half rounded pineapple without the eyes. Next is just to slice  it into small pieces and it is ready to eat.




Three

  1. Take a whole pineapple.
  2. Cut the top of it.
  3. And uses a special pineapple tools that will drill into it and take it from the skiin free from the eyes.
  4. What you get is a nice round pineapple ready to be slice in small pieces.
  5. You will also get a non-destroyed pineapple skin with the heart free from the flesh. If you put the pineapple top again, you will get a full empty pineapple.
  6. You can actually use it to serve drinks or foods or the pineapple it self.



Four

  1. It is the traditional way.
  2. With sharp knife we need to skin the pineapple thoroughly and.
  3. Skin it quite wide to remove the eyes.
  4. If not then run some diagonal just to remove the eyes, and for beauty.
  5. Then slice it into smaller pieces 1 cm wide.

How to Cook Meat on a Rock - Survival


Need to learn some survival tips on cooking. Here's a great way to cook meat if you do not have a metal pot or anything to fried or boil it.


What do we need?
  1. A flat rock
  2. The meat
  3. A sharp knife
  4. Woods for fire
  5. Salt and pepper for simple seasoning

Here are the steps:
  1. Get a flat rock.
  2. Clean and rinse it with some water, scrub it with your hands if necessary.
  3. Prepare some dried woods to make fire.
  4. Put the rock next to the fire.
  5. The rock will start absorbing the heat.
  6. When the stone get really really hot then we can trow our steak on to it.
  7. How to check if the rock is hot enough?
  8. Splash some water on to it, especialy on the back side and if it sizzles then we are ready to go.
  9. Blow the ash or dirt from the rock and,
  10. Put the meat on the rocks.
  11. When it is cook a little bit more, you want to slice it into smaller pieces and finish it in smaller sliceer and season it.
  12. It will make sure the inside meat gets cooked enough. careful as it's hot.
  13. A little salt and paper is good enough for the seasoning.
  14. Now you have a nice meat cooked in an old fashioned way.

How to Cook an Egg in a Potato


If you are in camping or lost and do not have a metal pot or anything else to boil or grill an egg, here's the survival way to cook the egg with a potato. It tastes delicious as well.



What do we need?
  1. A potato (the potato shall be bigger than the egg)
  2. An egg
  3. A spoon
  4. Some matches sticks
  5. Some charcoal or woods for fire

Here are the steps:

  1. Prepare the fire, probably from some dried woods.
  2. Wait until the flame is burn down a little bit. We just need the heat with no flames, like charcoal.
  3. While the fire is burning down we can prepare the potato and the egg.
  4.  Make sure the potato is bigger than the egg.
  5. Then we need to cut or slice the top of the potato a little bit. Not on the small top but on the long and wide side. (As if you are lying down a potato, cut the top a bit)
  6. Then you want to get a spoon to dig out some potato to remove the flesh so the egg can be put inside
  7. Break the shell and put the egg inside the potato.
  8. Add some match sticks on the top sliced potato and put the sliced top back to act as the lid.
  9. Put the potato with the egg inside in the charcoal.
  10. Keep it there for about 20 minutes to make it ready.
  11. Get the potato. Be careful as it is hot.
  12. Open the lid and check out the egg.
  13. And what you have is a perfectly grilled egg.

This is a great way especially if you don't have some metal pot or anything else to boil or grill egg.

Fastest way to cool a Drink in 2 minutes


When you are super exhausted in the summer all you want to have is a nice and cool beverages isn't? What if, for any reason, the fridge is empty. Don't panic.


DaveHax is gonna show you how to cool your drink in under 2 minutes. Not only cool but chill.

Tools that we need:
  1. Canned drinks.
  2. Water
  3. A bowl.
  4. Ice cubes
  5. Table salt.
Here are the steps:
  1. We're going to use a pack at room temperature lemonade
  2. As you can see at room temperature that is 24 degrees Celsius that's 75 degrees Fahrenheit
  3. Start by putting a bit water in a bowl and top it up with a ice
  4. Sprinkle over a couple tablespoons of cooking salt
  5. Give it a good mix
  6. Then go ahead and put your lemonade
  7. Basically adding salt causes the ice to melt faster
  8. But to do this it needs to draw heat energy from wherever possible
  9. In this case from the can causing the drink too rapidly
  10. After a minute give it a good stir
  11. You can pretty much use this method for any can or bottle drink
  12. After a couple of minutes take the can out and let's see how it compares to the one from earlier
  13. If you remember at room temperature it was 24 degrees C that's  75 degrees Fahrenheit
  14. And after just two minutes on the ice and salt solution,
  15. You can see the temperature has dramatically dropped all the way down to five degrees C that's 41 degrees Fahrenheit
  16. That's a total drop at 90 degrees Celsius or 34 degrees Fahrenheit in just two minutes
  17. Leaving you with the perfect temperature to serve a nice ice-cold lemonade
